"The introduction of a variety of organisms in the early
Cambrian, including such complex forms of the arthropods as the trilobites,
is surprising...The introduction of abundant organisms in the record would
not be so surprising if they were simple. Why should such complex organic
forms be in rocks about six hundred million years old and be absent or
unrecognized in the records of the preceding two billion years?...If there
has been evolution of life, the absence of the requisite fossils in the
rocks older than the Cambrian is puzzling."
Marshall Kay and Edwin H. Colbert, "Stratigraphy and
Life History" New York: John Wiley & Sons, 1965, p. 102
"...but I still think that to the unprejudiced, the fossil
record of plants is in favor of special creation."
E. J. H. Corner, "Contemporary Botanical Thought" ed.
by A.M. MacLeod and L.S. Cobley (Chicago: Quadrangle Books), 1961
Dr. Colin Patterson, one of the world's outstanding paleontologists, senior scientist at the British Museum of Natural History in London, said he had been "duped into taking evolutionism as revealed truth in some way." In a recent speech, he asked a simple question of the geologists at the Museum of Natural History in Chicago and at the Evolution Morphology Seminar at the University of Chicago. The question to both groups was: "Can you tell me anything that you know about evolution, any one thing, any one thing that is true?" ALL HE RECEIVED WAS SILENCE!
Pat Shipman, a paleontologist at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in "Discover" magazine September, 1986... "What the new skull does, in a single stroke, is overturn all previous notions of early hominid evolution...The things we thought we understood reasonably well we don't."
Norman Macbeth when asked about the "Hopeful Monster" theory of instant, massive mutational changes to explain fossil gaps..."...Critics pointed out that with such a large change occurring suddenly the new form would find it very difficult to find an equally monstrous partner with which to reproduce....This is not a scientific theory; it is only a statement that shows we are in such terrible shape that we have to admit that the changes must have been on the order of a miracle."
An example of what Evolutionists themselves say about radioactive dating methods: (from this web site)
"Literally thousands of dated materials are now available for use to bracket the various episodes in the history of the Earth within specific time zones. Many points on the time scale are being revised, however, as the behavior of isotopes in the Earth's crust is more clearly understood. Thus the graphic illustration of the geologic time scale, showing both relative time and radiometric time, represents only the present state of knowledge. Certainly, revisions and modifications will be forthcoming as research continues to improve our knowledge of Earth history."
What?! You mean this isn't the ABSOLUTE dating method after all?
